Rare Street Coffee

Love the concept and design of this place. A place every man will love. As a female I also appreciated the beautiful old Ducati and the cool vibe found here. Word on the street is that the espresso served here is similar in taste to that served at La Stanza in Zürich and I would have to say, it is. The espresso I had was corto and strong. Liked the touch of the little amaretto on the side of my plate too. Nice! And all for a lovely 4.00CHF. I was a little disappointed when I spoke to the Barista and asked which roaster their coffee came from and how long the place has been open for. I could have done with a little more charm and a little less attitude. The top coffee experience rating dropped immediately. As I left, I got the vibe that it could attract the ‘I need to be noticed or die’ kind of crowd. If you are not into that, then this is not the place for you. I definitely wasn’t in the mood for this on a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
